The cost of memory care is rising, leaving too many families behind. We exist to provide funding for engaging moments in day to day life.
When a loved one moves into care, the emotional weight on families can be heavy. There are questions, worries, guilt, grief, and a deep desire to know they are not just safe, but truly cared for.
That is why your donation matters.
Your support helps us provide meaningful activities, special events, and enriching experiences that nurture each resident’s social and emotional well-being. These moments are more than entertainment. They create connection, spark joy, stimulate the mind, lift the spirit, and remind each resident that they are seen, valued, and loved.
By giving, you help bring peace of mind to families and meaningful moments to the residents who call this community home.
Patty Ann Therwanger had a bright soul whose heart beat for God and those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She spent the majority of her time giving back to the community and those in need. Patty Ann saw the good in everyone and in the world. She loved walks, cardinals, hats, Suzy Qs, reading, Christmas, and playing Rummy.
While she was losing her memory, she never lost her spark. Patty cared for her family members deeply and enjoyed time with each one of them. Patty passed away at the age of 79, but her story and courage inspire us to help others who face progressive memory loss. Patty had the purest soul, and we believe that while she is not here with us today, her spirit lives on in this journey of Patty Ann Project, giving a space to find peace in heartbreaking times.
I have created this non-profit to honor my grandmother, who passed away from dementia. I want to give loved ones caring for those with memory loss a place to find peace and feel less alone. The Patty Ann Project allows for me to shed light on Grandma Patty by donating funds to memory care facilities. My hope is to enhance their quality of life through your donations!
My heart goes out to the memory care facility community for doing such incredible work. Memory loss residents are such genuine people and deserve the best care and quality of life possible.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to create such a meaningful non-profit. I believe that while the brain may forget, the heart will always remember.
